HHW and ODOT Program:

At this time, funding for this program has been exhausted. Until a decision is reached whether to re-fund this program, we can no longer accept applications for OJT supportive services reimbursement.  If the program is re-funded, all highway trade apprenticeship program coordinators will be notified.

Hard Hatted Women and the Ohio Department of Transportation's (ODOT) program for apprentices has been extended. The maximum lifetime award is now $400, and there are no longer dollar limits on the areas for reimbursement. Click here for a copy of the new form.

Covered services include: specialized seminars or training; physical examinations and drug testing; initial union dues or indenture fees; work-related tools; work related clothing, boots or uniforms; training and industry-related certifications (Excluded items of clothing include: blue jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sneakers, any street apparel).

The ODOT/HHW OJT Supportive Services program is a first come, first served program with a limited pool of funds.
