2012 WISE Pathways in Trumbull County
ATTENTION WOMEN IN TRUMBULL COUNTY: Hard Hatted Women is partnering with Eastern Gateway Community College and YWCA Warren to host its WISE Pathways program in Warren this spring. WISE Pathways is a 45-hour career exploration and readiness workshop that helps women get on the path to high-wage, high-skilled occupations in energy, manufacturing, and construction. WISE Pathways participants will be enrolled as students at Eastern Gateway Community College and will earn three credit hours towards the Associates of Technical Study degree. Classes will be held at the YWCA Warren (375 North Park Avenue, Warren, OH) beginning in March.
Women interested in learning more about the program can attend an informational session at one of these dates and times:
- Monday, February 6th, 5:30-7:00 PM
- Wednesday, February 8th, 10:00-11:30 AM
- Wednesday, February 8th, 3:30-5:00 PM

WISE (Women In Sustainable Employment) Pathways program.
WISE Pathways is a 40 hour, five to six week program with curriculum that focuses on high wage, high demand nontraditional occupation that show great prospects for hiring and nurturing a growing female workforce. The curriculum features in-depth informational sessions in the fields of construction, manufacturing, green jobs, and utilities. Participants have the chance to visit work sites and learn about tool and equipment safety.
